Heritage Crochet Techniques: Easy Tunisian Crochet and Lace

Mar 11, 2023 9:30AM—1:30PM

SEFAA Center 3420 W. Hospital Ave Chamblee, GA 30341

Tunisian crochet is a satisfying blend of crochet and knitting – you’re using a single hook to pull loops through but you are working with multiple stitches on your hook. In this class, you’ll start by learning basic Tunisian crochet stitches which create a dense, subtly textured fabric ideal for afghans and dish towels. Then, you’ll learn the easy-to-master secrets of drapey, delicate Tunisian lace. With over 400 stiches and pattern combinations, you’ll find endless contemporary uses for this heritage technique!
