Heritage Crochet Techniques: Fabulous Broomstick Lace

Mar 10, 2023 9:30AM—12:30PM

SEFAA Center 3420 W. Hospital Ave Chamblee, GA 30341

Look at Broomstick Lace, a historic crochet technique, in a new light! This unique and beautiful crochet technique is easy to learn, and it lends itself to any size of yarn and many patterns. In this class, you’ll learn to create open and airy broomstick mesh and broomstick eye fabrics using a large knitting needle (instead of a broomstick!). You’ll also learn to vary your tools and stitch combinations to create surprising and unusual effects. There are so many contemporary designs and applications, you’ll be glad you added broomstick lace to your creative tool kit.
