Exploring New Pathways to Fiber will be on exhibit at the SEFAA Center from September 5th through September 29th, 2022. You’ll find many textile techniques, including quilting, sewing, fabric collage, hand stitching, surface design, and various forms of embellishment in this collection of Beth Berghoff’s work. You’ll also find unusual materials, unique combinations of techniques and materials, and new pathways to fiber.
Beth grew up in a family of knitters and crocheters but didn’t start taking quilting classes until after college. Once she moved to Atlanta, she joined SEFAA and the Spruill Center for the Arts and began taking courses that looked interesting – everything from drawing to Boro stitching and most things in between. Her quest for learning and new experiences keeps her working in different mediums and exploring new approaches.
Exploring New Pathways to Fiber will be open on:
- Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10 am to 4 pm, and
- Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 am to 2 pm.
