Functional and Fun: Apron Sewing Workshop
Join us for a hands-on sewing workshop where you’ll craft a custom apron tailored to your style with Katrina Stone. Designed for all skill levels, this class will teach you to handle medium-weight fabrics with techniques like mitered corners, seam reinforcement, and topstitching. You’ll also learn to attach ties and snaps for a perfect fit. Add functional patch pockets and personalize your apron with decorative stitches and embellishments. By the end, you’ll have a beautifully made apron and valuable sewing skills to enhance future projects, all within a creative and supportive environment. Required Supplies:
- Your creativity and enthusiasm!
- A sewing machine in working order (bring all your specialty feet).
- A sewing kit that includes scissors, needles, pins, and a tape measure.
- Several spools of 40-weight thread in a variety of colors.
- Optional: Any special embellishments you would like to add to your apron.
