Combining knitting and crochet is not a new idea, but it is an exciting one! Here are just a few possibilities: Add crochet edging to finish a knit project, embellish a knit project with crocheted granny squares or openwork crochet stitches, or start knitting with a crocheted provisional cast-on or a crocheted circle for a base. Using both techniques together allows you to employ each where they make the most sense, opening up a world of creative options. Paula will share tips, tricks, and techniques for combining knitting and crochet in this class, and you’ll put them into practice by creating a two-technique scarf. It’ll be the start of a new creative journey!

Paula Vester has been crocheting since she was eight and spinning and dyeing for over 40 years. She loves sharing her textile passions with others, and she has taught throughout the Southeast, at The Estes Park Wool Market in Colorado, the Taos Wool Market in New Mexico, and at regional and national conferences.
