Choose from a variety of rib basket styles, including the classic melon basket, the intricate Irish knitting basket, the traditional egg basket, or the whimsical hen basket. You'll gain valuable skills in rib insertion and shaping, allowing you to bring your chosen design to life. With a selection of colors to choose from, you'll have the opportunity to personalize your creation and make it truly your own.

This class is perfect for all skill levels, whether you're a beginner or an experienced weaver. Under the guidance of Bev Larson—an expert artisan with over three decades of weaving experience—you’ll enjoy a creative and relaxing experience. Bev's teaching approach makes learning enjoyable and accessible, ensuring that every participant leaves with a beautiful, handcrafted basket they'll treasure for years to come.

Bev Larson has been weaving since 1988 and teaching since 1999, sharing her passion for the craft with students across the United States, from Indiana to Florida, New Mexico to Wisconsin, and even on Basket Weaving Cruises in the Caribbean. In 2016, she was recognized as an Indiana Artisan for both basket weaving and broom making, a testament to her skill and dedication. Her goal in every class is to create an inspiring, supportive environment where students can experience the joy of weaving.
