Ready to dive into the world of quilting? Join us for a fun, hands-on quilting adventure that’s perfect for beginners and anyone looking to take their skills to the next level! Over five engaging sessions, you will learn the essentials of quilting, while creating a stunning Stars and Nines Quilt (44” x 57”).

What’s in store?

  • Personalize your quilt and ensure your creation is one-of-a-kind by choosing from a variety of vibrant color palettes.
  • Master techniques to craft perfectly sized blocks for seamless quilt assembly.
  • Discover how to use sashing to join blocks and how to add beautiful borders for a polished finish.

Diana Quinn, is a seasoned quilter and embroidery artist, and she brings her lifetime love of textiles to this class. She learned to sew and embroider with her mother, grandmother, and aunt and has crafted several award-winning quilts since starting her quilting adventure in 2012. Diana is an active member of SEFAA, the East Cobb Quilters’ Guild, the Peachtree Handspinners Guild, Fiber Art Fusion, and the Atlanta Sewing Guild. You’ll find Diana online at www.quiltstickx.com.

$150 – $180

Additional Supply Fee:  $100, payable to Diana on the first day of class. The supply fee covers a fabric kit to make the quilt top, a pattern, and a specialty ruler for making half-square triangles.

Scholarship Available: No

Level: Open to everyone who can operate a sewing machine.

Minimum Number of Students: 5 by June 1, 2025
Maximum Number of Students: 8

Class Schedule:  Class will be held on June 15th, June 22nd, June 29th, July 13th, and July 20th, 2025.  Each class will be from 1-4 pm except for the July 13th class which will be from 9 am to noon.
